Al Aleem Mosque is located near Abu Dhabi Airport. the design is stripped of all luxurious ornaments to present a pure traditional Arab-Islamic style for this Jum’a Mosque, highlighting only its typical Islamic features, such as: Crenelation, Vaults, Mashrabiya, Minaret & Dome. It can accommodate a large number of worshippers, and has entrances from three sides, each entrance having three doors.
The mosque was built with three arches in the front of the building, one dome, and a square minaret raised to four floors, with soft lighting emanating from its side windows. The general appearance of the mosque suggests that it is one of the historical castles. The dome of the mosque is not raised on columns, but is supported by internal bridges. The mihrab is topped with the beautiful names of Allah, and its walls are decorated with verses from the Holy Quran.
