Palestine is rich in a number of archaeological sites and buildings,
crowned by the holiest religious monuments of mosques and churches. The mosques is the most important monuments in the Gaza Strip, so we should preserve it, find and provide all means to restore them on a scientific basis. This study discusses the restoration projects that are considered one of the most important architectural preservation operations, and focus on the restoration of ancient mosques in the Gaza Strip projects, through examining the methods used in restoration projects in order to evaluate it, and know their role and importance in the preservation of ancient mosques, in order to reach a policies that can be used in restoration projects. As well as providing scientific material that could be used in forthcoming studies. This study adopts on the descriptive analytical method, through theoretical study to collect as much information, field study which consists of visits and interviews, study and analysis of the information collected, questionnaire, and focus on results and recommendations that help duty bears and those who are relevant to restoration projects.
