Kampung Baru Jamek Mosque

Kampung Baru Jamek Mosque is located on a relatively large piece of land (about four lots) in Jalan Raja Alang, Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur Malaysia which was awarded by a philanthropist named Haji Bachik bin Abdullah. Haji Bachik is from Melaka and has a house in Jalan Melayu. As a trader who held the position of leader of the Malays at that time, concentrated on living in Kampung Hujung Pasir.

In fact, the name Kampung Baru exists on the basis of the unification of several Malay villages or mukims.
