_Al-Safar Mosque

Information

The Al‐Safar Mosque has an asymmetrical shape with a deconstruction architectural style. The design of the Al‐Safar Mosque transforms the shape of the Sundanese‐like traditional hat, a complement to the traditional clothing of West Javanese culture, so the mosque concept is a collaboration between culture and modern technology. However, this form raises debate among Muslim communities and designers.
