Princess Dzevhera Islamic Center

Information

A
focal point for the Islamic community of Bugojno, this centre has three distinct components: mosque
and madrasa; library and amphitheatre;
nursery, residential and office spaces. The strongly curved walls, together
with the cupolas and minarets, give the buildings a powerful symbolic
expression. Materials are reinforced concrete and brick, with a finishing coat
of plaster.
