Algabas Mosque is located at Lermontov street, No. 2, Algabas settlement, Alatau district, Almaty city. The mosque was officially opened on February 20, 2004.
The territory of the mosque is 0.25 hectares, the total area is 288.3 square meters. The mosque consists of 2 floors with a capacity of 500 worshippers at the same time. There is also a separate prayer room and toilet for women. The mosque has a huge dome. The height of the mosque is 17.6 meters. There is a hall for women to pray and a lecture room on the ground floor of the mosque. The chief imam of the mosque is Saken Amangeldiuly Davmusharov.
